Originally from California, Shannon has proudly called Texas home for over a decade. As the founder of Shannon Star Events & Design, she blends West Coast sophistication with Southern charm to create celebrations that feel effortless and unforgettable.

With years of experience in event design, planning, and hospitality, Shannon is known for her eye for detail, vibrant personality, and genuine dedication to her clients. A proud mom of two, she draws inspiration from family, joy, and connection — bringing heart and creativity to every event she designs.
Hannah Burnham — Event Coordinator & Brand Manager
With more than ten years in the service and hospitality industry, Hannah Burnham ensures every event runs seamlessly from setup to the final touches. Her professionalism, organization, and warm personality make her an essential part of the Shannon Star team.

In addition to coordinating events, Hannah manages the brand’s social media presence, capturing the creativity and beauty behind every celebration. Her eye for design and passion for people perfectly reflect the heart of Shannon Star Events & Design.
Matthew Jones ----- Executive Chef
Matthew Jones was born and raised in Montana where his parents instilled a love for all things edible with their own culinary curiosities. Dad almost always had something on his big green egg, while mother was obsessed with making the perfect apple pie. Every holiday seemed to be paired with old and new traditions.
While going to college at the University of Montana, Matt dabbled in the world of restaurants and realized his love for the people and the lifestyle.This love left Matthew wanting to learn more so he fled to the nearest culinary hotspot- Portland Oregon.
It was in this city that Matthew truly got his culinary chops, working for some of the best restaurants in the United states. Matthew settled in San Antonio in 2020, where he spent time as the chef at notable spots like The Hayden, Dough and Walter's Wedding estates where he met Shannon!
